Individual Therapy for Adults and Seniors

At some point, everyone needs positive support.

Everyone needs support, and sometimes we need more support than other times in our lives. At every stage of life, there are adjustments, growth, loss, gain, and change that can elicit all kinds of feelings. And sometimes, life throws a wrench into our plans, causing us to question everything and changing us forever.

As we age and go through each stage in life, we can expect normal changes that are similar for most of us. Then there are times when we feel alone and experience things that maybe our parents, siblings, children, spouse, or peers haven’t experienced. This can be very isolating. It’s helpful to talk about how we are feeling to be heard, seen, and understood. It’s also helpful to figure out how to pivot during these times and find a new normal.

Young adults, starting families of their own, midlife, career change, menopause, finding themselves again separate from the roles that they play (wife, mother), and life after retirement all have their own joys and struggles.

The good news is that you don’t have to do life alone. Sometimes having a supportive professional during these phases of life can really help, especially if it’s with someone who is not personally involved in your life and can offer a neutral, unbiased perspective.

The right therapy can make a difference.

As a therapist, I have broad experience working with people across the entire life spectrum, from childhood to the end of life. This work has occurred in a variety of settings, from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial hospitalization, residential, group home, independent living, assisted living, extended care facilities, home-based care, outpatient therapy, telehealth, special needs advocacy, and employee assistance programs.

I have experience working with different populations, including military service members, their spouses and children, first responders, women going through menopause, young adults trying to find themselves and their purpose, and people with chronic pain, to people trying to make big changes in their lives.

Life Spectrum Psychology typically refers to comprehensive, strength-based mental health care that treats individuals across all ages, stages of life, and diverse mental health needs. These services often integrate holistic care, addressing the connection between mental health and physical conditions to promote well-being.

Experience positive support.

The human experience was never meant to be done alone. When challenges come, having the right support by your side can make a world of difference.

I would be honored to walk alongside you and help in any way I can.
