I offer both in-person and secure telehealth sessions, allowing clients to choose the format that best fits their needs.
Yes. I offer secure telehealth sessions in addition to in-person appointments. Many clients find virtual therapy both convenient and effective, especially with busy schedules or demanding work lives.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients begin weekly to build stability and support during early grief. As healing progresses, frequency can shift. We reassess together to keep therapy purposeful.
We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations are charged the full session fee. Consistency supports the work.
You can reach out through the contact page. We’ll explain the next steps and help you feel prepared for the first session.
It’s completely normal to feel anxious or unsure before the first appointment, especially when the loss feels unspeakable. In the first session, we focus on understanding your story and what feels most overwhelming right now. There’s no pressure to be strong, explain it perfectly, or hold yourself together.
We create space for whatever shows up, whether that’s tears, numbness, anger, or silence. Most clients leave feeling relieved that they didn’t have to protect anyone else’s comfort in the room.
Many people wonder whether they should handle this on their own. If the grief feels consuming, isolating, or confusing, therapy can help. If you’re stuck in guilt, intrusive thoughts, sleep disruption, or relationship tension, you don’t have to carry that alone.
You don’t need to be in crisis. Wanting to feel steadier, even while grieving, is enough reason to begin.
That fear makes sense, especially when people around you don’t know how to talk about what happened. You don’t need the right words. We move at your pace. Sometimes we start with what the days feel like now. Sometimes we sit in silence. Therapy isn’t about performing grief correctly. It’s about allowing it to exist safely.
Feeling understood is essential in grief work. Many clients tell us they feel like we are the right match because they don’t have to explain the basics of perinatal loss. If you’re looking for someone who understands both clinically and personally, and who is willing to sit with painful truths without minimizing them, this may be a good fit. The first session helps you decide.
We work best with individuals and couples navigating perinatal loss and complex grief. Many feel shattered, overwhelmed, or unlike themselves. Some are anxious and restless. Others feel numb. This practice is a strong fit for people willing to reflect, engage emotionally, and do meaningful work over time.
Our work is trauma-informed and grief-focused. We combine emotional presence with psychoeducation and meaning-making. We validate that these are normal reactions to a devastating event. Over time, therapy helps you hold love and loss together without being consumed by pain.
Sometimes. This may include reflection prompts, gentle journaling, or ways to notice triggers and self-talk. Nothing is assigned to push you faster than you’re ready. Growth isn’t rushed here. Small steps matter.
